Our Story
Though traditional investment assets have been an integral part of wealth creation in India, the foray of Hedge Funds is quite recent. While the who’s-who were experimenting with the latest trend in the Indian investment spectrum, the enterprising duo at PWA was also fascinated by various hedging strategies. And soon enough, Swapnil was working hands-on on these strategies in 2016, while Gouranga followed a year later.
Their natural inquisitiveness and entrepreneurial mindset led them to explore the world of Hedging and its historical performance in the global markets. They came across a unique opportunity and realized the potential of offering customized Hedging Strategy as opposed to the available off-the-rack products.
After two years of ideation, research, and experimentation, PWA formally opened its doors to business in January 2021. PWA is a true testimony of seizing opportunities and making things happen.
